Tour de Cure

Visit Website

Recently, Jayco Mackay was approached by Andrew from 40 Winks to see if we would be willing to lend them a caravan to follow the 2018 Tour de Cure from Mackay to Cairns.

When Mick and Marianne looked further into the event and realised the potential it had to raise some serious funds for cancer research, not only did they agree to lend a caravan to the event, but they offered to tow it themselves and set it up at each location.

The idea was to auction off a ‘good nights sleep’ for the riders and provide their own private piece of luxury whilst on tour. We raised thousands of dollars over the course of the event and had a lot of fun in the process.

Jayco Mackay Italian Street Party

Visit Website

The 2017 Inaugural event was a massive success. Mackay gets a taste of Italy the Italian way – by hanging out on the street, listening to music, eating good food and catching up with friends. This event is shaping up to be one of the best nights on the Mackay Social Calendar. 2018 was bigger and better again with more food, more space and bigger acts including Mr Tom Burlinson (aka the Man from Snowy River).
